How to Delete Your Data from ViralScope

We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your data at any time using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Delete from Your Account Settings

1. Log in to your ViralScope account at https://viralscope.io
2. Navigate to Settings → Account
3. Click Delete Account
4. Confirm your decision
5. Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted

Method 2: Email Request

Send a deletion request to support@viralscope.io from the email address associated with your account. Include:

• Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
• Your account email address
• Confirmation that you want to delete all your data

What Gets Deleted

When you request data deletion, we remove:

• Your ViralScope account and profile information
• All Instagram data we've collected (posts, metrics, analysis)
• Pattern analysis and insights generated from your content
• Usage data and preferences
• Any cached content from your Instagram account

What We Retain

We may retain certain information as required by law:

• Transaction records for tax and accounting purposes
• Communications for legal compliance
• Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you

Revoking Instagram Access

To immediately stop ViralScope from accessing your Instagram data:

1. Go to Instagram Settings
2. Navigate to Apps and Websites
3. Find ViralScope in the active apps list
4. Click Remove
5. This immediately revokes our access to your Instagram data

When you revoke Instagram access, we automatically delete all your Instagram content from our systems.

Processing Time

• Account deletion requests: Processed within 48 hours
• Instagram revocation: Immediate removal of Instagram data
• Complete deletion: May take up to 30 days to remove from all backup systems

Data Retention After Cancellation

If you cancel your subscription but don't request deletion:

• Data retained for 30 days in case you wish to reactivate
• After 30 days, data is automatically deleted
• You can request immediate deletion at any time
